Acai Berry Detox Scam
Acai Berry Detox is one of the hundreds of Acai berry scam distributors. I notice something about their blogs that they use fakes. The uses the same weightloss story with just different wordings. If they are not a scam, why would they need to use fake blogs and advertisements? They even used different networks like ABC, Today, CBS news, WSJ.com in their website. But in reality, they’ve not even asked permition with these networks for them to be put in its website. Why is Acai detox considered a scam? Here are the most common complaints that most people experience with this company:
1. Unethical and fraudulent business – This company I can say is one of the worst of all fakes for it can even take $300 or more from you. Charging you fees for the “FREE” products that they’d offered. It doesn’t matter if you refuse the the subscription, they’ll still send you their products and regularly charge you for something you don’t even want. If this thing happens, don’t ignore it, for you can lose so much money if you did. Go to your bank and report it as a fraud. Ask your bank for the best solution for this.
2. Fake costumer service – For example, you tried ordering the promotional free trial and you then realized that this product is crappy and doesn’t work at all. The first thing you’ll probably do is call at their costumer service hot lines. But what do you get? Nothing. For so many hours trying to contact them, you still can’t reach them, because it is really not meant for you to get through. The numbers that are in their website or what they’ve given you is not working or it’s always out of reach all the time.
3. Deceptive advertisements – In their website, it is stated that if you order their free trial, you’d only be charged for the shipping and handling which is only 3 – 4 dollars. But without you noticing it, they’ll charge you the full amount of 87.94 dollars for a product that is not just working but also causes harm to the user. In their advertisement, they’ve also stated that if it’s not going to work for you, it’s a money back guarantee. But you’ll never get your money back, instead, you’ll be billed three times the price of their product which you already wanted to return.
4. Unauthorized charge from your credit card – There are many complaints about this situation. A costumer will order Acai detox, then they’ll receive it 4 days before the trial period expiration. Then if they want to cancel this for them not to be charged any amount of money, they’ll call Acai detox and tell them that they already want to cancel it. When you are already talking to them and already told them that you don’t want it and will be canceling it already, they’ll tell you that you won’t be charged any amount, or if any, it’ll only be for the shipping cost. But on that same day, try checking your bank account, you’ll find out that you were already been charged for the whole price of their product. If you talk to their costumer care, if ever you got through, the only thing they’ll tell you is “I can’t give any information”. What? They can’t give any information because the only information that’s true about them is they are a fraud.
